Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our team at a well-established international company specializing in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke water treatment equipment for municipal and industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company's mechanical and electrical design engineers to ensure product and project-specific designs meet customer expectations and specifications.
- Report to the Head of Projects and work closely with the design team to deliver high-quality designs.
- Provide full product training to ensure the design team has the necessary skills to deliver exceptional results.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop designs that meet their needs.
- Manage and maintain design documentation, including CAD drawings and technical specifications.
Requirements:
- Strong design experience, preferably in the water treatment industry.
- Hold an engineering qualification, such as a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Prior experience in a lead or managerial role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs.
- Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
