Our care home, St Mary's Court, is nestled in the heart of Braintree, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a tranquil atmosphere. Our dedicated team is passionate about providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring that every moment is filled with comfort, dignity, and joy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain the cleanliness of all allocated rooms, including furniture, fittings, and equipment
  • Ensure the bathrooms and toilets are clean and hygienic, adhering to strict guidelines for the control of germs and infestation
  • Maintain a clean and odour-free environment throughout the care home
  • Be aware of and adhere to the health and safety statement, including COSHH guidelines
  • Dispose of waste bags and other waste materials in accordance with our waste management procedures
  • Ensure that all care standards regulations are met and maintained
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of our residents and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry is preferred but not essential
  • Able to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and furniture as required
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
