Job Title: HGV Technician

About the Role:
At Ford & Slater Limited, we are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at our Sheffield Dealership. As a Nightshift HGV Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide variety of trucks and vehicles, ensuring that all work is carried out to manufacturers procedures and in a safe and responsible manner.

Key Responsibilities:
• Servicing and maintaining trucks and vehicles
• Carrying out safety inspections and preparing vehicles for MOTs
• Fault diagnostics and repairs
• Ensuring all work is carried out according to manufacturers procedures

Requirements:
• Previous experience working as a Technician/Mechanic within the HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV, Heavy Plant, Car or an associated sector
• Qualified to Level 3 (C&G, NVQ or equivalent) in Commercial Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Excellent technical knowledge and ability to accurately diagnose faults
• Full UK driving licence
