Job Opportunity

Version 1 is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Front End Developer to join our team. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a crucial role in driving technology transformation and delivering exceptional digital products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and technical architects to understand business requirements and drive solution design and development.
  • Ensure code meets requirements and adheres to our architectural and front-end coding standards.
  • Optimize applications using best practices for performance.
  • Propose upgrades and updates necessary for modern security and best practices.
  • Contribute to shared component libraries and build modular, reusable components.
  • Provide mentorship and share knowledge with junior team members.

Essential Criteria

  • Extensive background in front-end development with significant experience working with React and JavaScript.
  • Experience with RTK Query, Graph QL, REST, and Jest for unit testing.
  • Strong core front-end skillset of HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience working with Government component libraries or Material UI.

Security Clearance

  • Eligibility for UK SC Clearance is required.
