About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team at a primary school in Maidstone. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- To contribute to an inclusive and supportive classroom environment, helping children achieve their learning targets and develop essential skills.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality support to students with complex needs, including ASD, ADHD, and non-verbal communication.
- To maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly those with high needs, ASD, ADHD, and non-verbal communication.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to providing high-quality support to students with complex needs.
