Exciting Opportunity for a General Adult Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Adult Psychiatrist to join our Multidisciplinary Team as a full-time Inpatient Consultant on Ward at the Radbourne Unit, Derby with Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

As a clinical leader, you will be involved in shaping and developing the service as the Trust is undertaking a new build project. In November, the ward will be moving to the Kingsway Site in Derby and will be based in a new purpose-built hospital with the eradication of dormitories. The ward will then be named Dove Ward.

You will also have opportunities to grow and enhance your skills as a clinician and develop evidence-based innovative practices.

Person Specification

Essential criteria:

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Fully registered with GMC with license.
  • Approved clinician status.

Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of speciality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to meet duties under MHA and MCA.
  • Ability to work in and lead a team.
  • Participated in research and service provision.
