Job Description

Vantage Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for tailoring bespoke quotations for new and existing customers in the print finishing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make proactive outbound phone calls and handle inbound enquiries to identify sales opportunities.
  • Follow up on sales leads to ensure timely conversion into sales.
  • Provide detailed quotations to customers, taking into account their specific needs and requirements.
  • Coordinate installation requirements with customers and liaise with the technical department to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Invite customers to the site for hardware systems demonstrations to showcase our products.
  • Visit existing and new customers across the UK to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest systems and technologies by participating in regular training sessions.
  • Complete call lists for upcoming events, new products, or promotions to ensure timely communication with customers.
  • Effectively manage tasks and work efficiently under pressure to meet sales targets.
  • Attend offsite events and shows to represent the company and build relationships with customers.
  • Conduct training sessions on systems for new employees or less experienced colleagues to ensure knowledge sharing and development.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing proactive role, ideally selling into a technical environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact confidently with customers over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Ability to maintain comprehensive product knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Self-motivation, with the capacity to work independently and efficiently by organizing and prioritizing tasks.
  • Basic competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • A full driving license would be beneficial.
