Interim UK Regulatory Reporting Specialist

BNY Mellon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim UK Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join our Finance Professional Services Centre team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality COREP production for the UK Bank, including review of daily and monthly Capital and Leverage ratios.
Key Responsibilities:- Reporting: Take ownership of the delivery of high-quality COREP production, ensuring timely and accurate submission to regulatory bodies.
- Stakeholder Management: Develop close relationships with UK Market Centre report owners and other business areas, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Oversight & Controls: Ensure all reports are produced in a strong operational control environment, with well-evidenced reviews, checklists, variance analysis, reconciliations, and procedures.
- Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with legislative, accounting, and regulatory developments, as well as knowledge of external reporting requirements and procedures.
- Assurance: Key involvement with internal and external assurance activities, providing deliverable requests, walkthroughs, and responding to queries in a timely manner.
- Change: Assist with the provision of regulatory support for relevant projects, including new regulatory reporting production requirements and regulatory system improvements.
- Qualified Accountant with ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA Full Accreditation or equivalent, with at least 2 years post-qualified experience.
- Regulatory Reporting experience essential, including regulatory and accounting systems and processes.
- Organized and structured working methodology, attention to detail, and highly motivated individual with an analytical inquisitive/challenging mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including communication, planning, and escalation.
- Experience of a fast-moving, deadline-driven, highly controlled, multi-national/functional organization.
