About Us

Children's Hospice South West is a leading provider of care and support for children with life-limiting conditions. We are seeking a highly organized and driven Retail Assistant to support the Shop Manager in running our thriving and well-established shop in St Ives.

The Role

As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for serving customers, sorting and displaying stock, handling cash, and following health and safety procedures. You will also help the Shop Manager create a positive working culture and a happy working environment. Our shop operates 7 days a week, and you will be an integral part of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Serving customers and providing excellent customer service
  2. Sorting and displaying stock to maximize sales
  3. Handling cash and operating the till
  4. Following health and safety procedures
  5. Supporting the Shop Manager in creating a positive working culture

Requirements

We are seeking an organized, driven, and hands-on team member who will support the running of our shop. The successful candidate will have experience of working in retail or a customer service position and will be able to work well in a team environment.
