Your Mission:

  • Ensure supplier deliverables meet requirements.
  • Develop and check design documents with Senior Engineers.
  • Assist in design development activities and optioneering studies.
  • Apply Systems Engineering principles.
  • Integrate Turbine Island design into wider power plant infrastructure.
  • Engage with stakeholders and attend design reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and check design documents.
  • Supplier Management: Ensure supplier deliverables meet requirements and specifications.
  • Systems Engineering: Apply Systems Engineering principles to integrate Turbine Island design into wider power plant infrastructure.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders and attend design reviews to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality management.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum 2:1 BEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience: Relevant senior engineering experience in sectors like offshore, renewables, nuclear, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Skills: Solid background in mechanical and structural engineering, proficient with CAD software, strong mathematical skills, skilled in producing technical reports, and knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the work, applicants must meet UK security clearance criteria.
