Senior Lending Product Manager

This forward-thinking financial services organisation is seeking a Senior Lending Product Manager to join its high-performing team. As a key member of the organisation, you will be accountable for delivering commercial lending targets and actively managing existing lending customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the organisation's lending product strategy, including ownership of Asset Finance and Real Estate finance products.
  • Monitor market and competitor trends, design and price products, and ensure good customer outcomes.
  • Jointly own the organisation's distribution strategy, managing customer journeys, outcomes, and stakeholder relationships.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a detailed understanding of lending customers and third parties.
  • Manage and develop direct reports, and maintain a good working understanding of the regulatory environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Heads of Asset Finance and Real Estate Finance.
  • Represent the organisation at external events and prepare papers for governance forums.
Person Profile
  • Extensive experience in product management, preferably in Asset Finance and Real Estate Finance.
  • Excellent market knowledge and analytical skills.
  • Broad knowledge of product management principles and customer-centric approach.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Conduct Risk and Treating Customers Fairly requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with negotiation and relationship management experience.
  • Budget management experience is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
