Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Women's Health Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to the provision of excellent patient care in obstetrics and gynaecology.

">

Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Provide high-quality patient care in obstetrics and gynaecology">
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent outcomes">
  • Participate in a 1 in 11 rota of labour ward cover, including prospective cover for out-of-hours duties">
  • Contribute to general gynaecology clinics, including menstrual disorder, assisted reproduction, and adolescent gynae clinics">
  • Support the clinical director across a range of managerial and administrative functions">

Requirements

  • ">
  • MbChB or equivalent qualification">
  • MRCOG or equivalent registration">
  • Certificate of completion of training or equivalent (or within 6 months of CCT by interview)">
  • On the specialist register of the GMC">
  • Able to deal with common emergencies in general gynaecology and obstetrics">
  • ATSM in Advanced Labour Ward Practice and Subfertility and Reproductive Health">

Salary and Benefits

">

We offer a competitive salary of £87,750 - £116,161 per annum, plus benefits, to attract the best candidates for this challenging and rewarding role.

This role is based at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, covering the Wigan Borough and surrounding areas.
