The Health & Safety Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Construction Regulatory Specialist to join their team in London.

This role involves working on small-medium to large-sized projects in various sectors, including education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

You will provide expert advice on the Building Safety Act and Building Regulations, conduct plan checks, and review designs for compliance. Attending client and design team meetings is also a key part of this role.

Duties:

  • Providing expert advice on Building Regulations and related legislation
  • Conducting plan checks and reviewing designs for compliance
  • Attending client and design team meetings
  • Inspecting properties and buildings at key design stages
  • Preparing written reports and maintaining regulatory trackers
  • Nurturing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities

Qualifications:

A degree in a construction-related field is required, with membership to RICS, CABE, or CIOB being an advantage.

Experience:

A strong understanding of the design and construction process, as well as hands-on experience in inspecting buildings, is essential.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of Building Regulations, codes, and associated legislation, as well as exceptional client-facing skills.

We are offering a competitive salary of £75,000 - £85,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package including pension, life assurance, and healthcare.
