Job Summary:
Entech Technical Solutions Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Specialist to join our team. As a Mechanical Design Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure design requirements are met
- Work with a global team to address technical problems and implement design changes
- Develop and maintain design documentation, including component and group drawings
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mechanical design
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of solid modelling (SolidWorks)
- Experience with complex machinery and rotating/reciprocating equipment
- Understanding of design for manufacturing and design for assembly philosophies
- Engineering degree or HNC/HND
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues in different geographies
