Laminator Operative

We are seeking a skilled Laminator Operative to join our team in Portland. As a Laminator Operative, you will be responsible for preparing moulds, reading and understanding manufacturing instruction sheets, and applying gelcoat.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing moulds for laminating
- Reading and understanding manufacturing instruction sheets
- Applying gelcoat to moulds
- Mixing resins to ratios (weight/volume)
- Performing a variety of laminating tasks, including wet-lay, prepreg, and vacuum infusion
- Identifying laminating defects
- Gelcoat repairs
- Using hand tools
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of laminating experience
- Ability to work in a production or manufacturing environment
- Confident in reading and understanding manufacturing instruction sheets
- Ability to work as part of a multi-skilled team
What We Offer:
- Temporary to permanent contracts
- 4-day working week
- 38 hours per week
- £13.91 to £15.59 per hour DOE
- Weekly paid
- Immediate start
