Assistant Accountant Role

CMA Recruitment Group is proud to be supporting a leading business in their search for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their commercial finance team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled finance professional to partner closely with the Commercial Finance Manager, completing a wide range of financial tasks, including credit control, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow management, and liaising with the wider commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily reporting for the commercial team on cash flow.
  • Manage sales ledger and credit control.
  • Create CIS accounts and prepare contract reports.
  • Complete journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide cover for the Commercial Finance Manager.
Requirements:
  • Confident communicator with experience liaising with non-finance departments.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced finance environment.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookup.
