About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioural Support Specialist to join our team as a PBS Practitioner. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) strategies to improve the quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement PBS plans based on thorough assessments of individual needs.
  • Conduct Functional Behavioural Assessments (FBA) to inform PBS plans.
  • Regularly monitor and update PBS plans to reflect changes in behaviour or support needs.
  • Collaborate with individuals, families, and key stakeholders to develop support plans.
  • Provide training and guidance on PBS principles and practices to staff.
Requirements
  • Degree in Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing PBS plans.
