About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Officer to join our team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Facilities Team, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the soft facilities across our Trust, ensuring that our facilities contract and in-house team comply with quality and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain soft facilities across the Trust, ensuring compliance with quality and standards.
- Develop and implement effective facilities management strategies to support clinical colleagues and improve patient care.
- Work closely with external contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of facilities services.
- Conduct regular audits of FM services to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide excellent communication and customer service to Trust staff, patients, and visitors.
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in facilities management, preferably with experience in the NHS or healthcare sector. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
