Destination Host Ambassador

About the Role

The Destination Host is a key member of our team, responsible for creating an exceptional experience for visitors to our destination. This role requires a strong understanding of customer needs and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

• Curate a welcoming environment that exceeds visitor expectations
• Ensure seamless communication with stakeholders, including occupiers, customers, and marketing teams
• Foster close relationships with local retailers, leisure operators, and other stakeholders to drive unique opportunities and experiences
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries efficiently and effectively
• Act as a proactive problem-solver, identifying and resolving issues before they escalate
• Maintain accurate records of customer feedback and use this information to inform strategic decisions

About You

We're looking for a highly organized and communicative individual with excellent interpersonal skills. As a Retail Experience Lead, you'll be able to build strong relationships with colleagues, occupiers, and visitors, creating a sense of community and belonging.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Cold-outreach experience a plus
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
• Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy
• A real specialist in retail, having a passion and understanding of retail (experience of managing relationships with retailers a benefit)
• Understanding of well-being programmes
• Experience of small to medium scale event management
• A passion for customer experience
• Project management and business operations experience
• Innovative thinking – be different and bold in approach
• Able to embrace efficiencies – having an acute appreciation and desire for efficiency
• Be ambitious and commercially minded

Location

This role is based on-site in Reading, GBR. If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences, we encourage you to apply. We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
