Job Overview

Dundee City Council is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Advisor to join its Corporate Procurement Team. The successful candidate will work full-time, 37 hours per week, from home and Dundee House.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves providing procurement advice and assistance to support the strategic delivery of procurement activities across the organisation. This includes assisting in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Corporate Procurement Team, supporting the Corporate Procurement Manager, Category Officers, and Community Benefits Officer.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need an SVQ3/HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject area, or relevant working experience. You should also have excellent organisational skills, with strong numeracy and analysis skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages is essential.
