About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Environmental Compliance Director to join our team and lead our organization's sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant environmental, social, and governance (ESG) regulations.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in sustainability, compliance, or environmental management and be able to develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with our corporate objectives.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong background and experience in sustainability, compliance, or environmental management (3-5 years in a sustainability role).
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance standards, and sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, CSRD, WEEE).
  • Experience with sustainability reporting tools and frameworks, such as EcoVadis and Sedex.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to keep abreast of industry trends and proactively implement best practices.

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
