Torque Consulting is a leading engineering and manufacturing company based in Liverpool, working with clients globally. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks 3D.
  2. Create detailed 3D models, BOM, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
  3. Perform design analysis and simulations to validate designs and ensure compliance with specifications.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product development.
  5. Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure design integrity and functionality.
  6. Maintain and update design documentation and records.
  7. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design and SolidWorks software.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably in a similar field.
  3. Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D and related design and simulation tools.
  4. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
  5. Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
