About the Role

Safran Landing Systems is a world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, and we're at the forefront of contributing to safer, more sustainable aviation for current and future generations. We design, test, manufacture, and assemble landing gear used on commercial aircraft, including Airbus and Boeing, and UK military aircraft like the Eurofighter Typhoon. Our UK division in Gloucester has been a leader in cutting-edge landing gear technology for over 90 years, since the innovative designs of Sir George Dowty.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop local procedures and forms within the document management system.
  • Conduct internal audits and maintain the internal audit program.
  • Facilitate external audits from regulatory and certification bodies.
  • Support operational teams with responses to audit findings, including facilitating root cause analysis investigations.
  • Review employee competency and issue stamp authority.
  • Liaise with the Central QMS team and cascade policies and processes down to a local level.
  • Identify and implement potential improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of Quality Management Systems – preferably AS9100.
  • Experience working within a precision engineering or other highly regulated environment.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Attention to detail.
