Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Finance Assistant to join our team at WCF Chandlers. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transactions: Process daily financial transactions, including reconciliations, invoicing, and banking.
  • Accounting Tasks: Complete daily accounting tasks, such as managing purchase and sales ledgers, processing cheques, and producing weekly BACS runs.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring timely payments and reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including weekly and monthly management accounts.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a finance or accounting environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Personal Qualities: A team player with a positive attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
