Job Summary

We are seeking a highly specialist Orthoptist to provide autonomous practitioner services within our Trust and Community.

The successful candidate will assess, diagnose, and manage children and adults referred to Orthoptics, with a focus on complex needs and challenging behavior.

They will also develop and provide paediatric and adult orthoptic services, as well as educate and train undergraduate orthoptic students and other health professionals.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Bachelor of Science in Orthoptics or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health Professions Council.
  • Clinical experience to enable working as an independent practitioner.
