Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced senior leader to fill the role of Assistant Headteacher at Westwood College. As part of our senior leadership team, you will play a crucial role in supporting student well-being, managing attendance, and leading staff in delivering high-quality pastoral care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting student well-being through pastoral care initiatives
  • Managing attendance and ensuring timely interventions
  • Leading staff teams to achieve excellent pastoral outcomes
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Leadership experience in education or a related field
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and best practices
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Organisational and leadership abilities

Salary Range: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum (leadership pay spine or equivalent day rate reflecting experience)

Location: Our college campus; occasional visits to other sites within the trust
