Job Title: Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer (LV / MV)Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team as a key member in the development and implementation of electrical systems for our global manufacturing clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, power distribution systems, and commissioning.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with engineering disciplines to develop electrical system designs
  • Prepare and manage design deliverables, including substation, MCC, control panel design packages, installation and cabling design, optimum protection setting determination, and test specifications
  • Prepare and manage technical specifications for power system installation, including single-line diagrams, cable schedules, wiring schedules, and loop drawings
  • Ensure compliance with industry legislation, standards, and guidance
  • Manage project spend in accordance with approved budgets
  • Coordinate onsite installation and commissioning, meeting safety, quality, and schedule objectives
Requirements:
  • Experience in electrical design, power distribution systems, and commissioning
  • Strong knowledge of LV and MV systems, protection setting, and fault level determination
  • Ability to create and work with electrical drawing packages and project documentation
  • Effective prioritization of projects and tasks to ensure delivery on time and within budget
  • Pro-active and self-motivated, able to work under pressure and to tight timescales
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to travel on a worldwide basis, sometimes for 1-2 months at a time, to oversee installation and commissioning phases.

We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and a hybrid working arrangement (office 60:40 home). The role also includes a car subsidy scheme, bonus up to 20% of basic salary, and on-site car parking.
