Job Description:

We are seeking an ambitious SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Clarus Education. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working 1:1 in and out of a classroom with students with behavioural challenges. This will include children diagnosed with ADHD and Autism, as well as children with mild learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with behavioural challenges in a 1:1 setting
  • Work in a classroom environment to support students with SEN
  • Develop and implement behaviour support plans to help students achieve their educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive support system for students
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students to help them manage their behaviour

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN and behavioural challenges
  • Ability to develop and implement behaviour support plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
