**Job Title:** Senior Electrician (Retail)

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Electrician (Retail) to join our client's team in Derby and Staffordshire. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across various sites in the area.


**Responsibilities:**

  • Lead and manage a team of electricians to carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance tasks
  • Develop and implement electrical maintenance schedules to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Train and mentor junior electricians to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and compliance documents


**Requirements:** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • City and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • AM2 or approved electrician status
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671: 2018)
  • 3 Phase Electrics and its applications
  • Achievement of PPM schedule within agreed timescales


**Salary and Benefits:** Our client offers a competitive salary package, including:

  • Base Salary: £38,377.01 per annum (inclusive of call-out pay)
  • Overtime Monday to Friday: £24.85 per hour | Overtime Weekends: £33.14 per hour
  • Potential for 5-20 hours of overtime per month (not guaranteed)
  • Company Van with Fuel Card
  • Company Pension Scheme
  • BUPA Healthcare (single cover)
  • 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)
