Rate: £19.23 per hour

About the Opportunity:

This exciting opportunity is for a Senior Electrician to join our team at a chemical manufacturing company based in Hebburn.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in a heavy industrial environment and possess a strong understanding of IET Wiring Regulations for Electrical Installations (BS7671).

Responsibilities include carrying out electrical installation work efficiently, diagnosing malfunctioning apparatus, and performing routine checking and testing of electrical systems, equipment, and components.

The successful candidate will also have a good knowledge of instrumentation and control, electrical variable speed drives, control, and electromechanical systems.

Requirements:

• Vast experience working in a heavy industrial environment
• Minimum qualification of the City and Guilds of London Institute Certificate: Electrical Installation Part II or III, or Electrical Plant Part II or III, or NVQ Level III, completed a recognized apprenticeship
• Strong understanding of IET Wiring Regulations for Electrical Installations (BS7671)
