Job Title: Switchgear Wirer

This role involves working as a skilled wirer installing and maintaining switchgear at Mercury Hampton's substations. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in your work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain switchgear to meet stringent quality and safety requirements.
  • Perform electrical connections and wiring to ensure seamless operations.
  • Verify that all installations are properly tested and certified before dispatch.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve any technical issues that may arise during the installation process.
Requirements:
  • Hold electrical qualification level 3 or above.
  • Possess BTEC or City and Guilds electrical qualification or recognised apprenticeship.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary up to £32,000 with a 10% bonus for excellent performance (paid monthly).
