Kenny Recruit is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. This exciting opportunity is with a leading insurance and reinsurance broker, where you will play a crucial role in providing support to the Operations and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the flow of data from systems of record into financial ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide timely and insightful financial reporting to support business decision-making.
- Develop and maintain robust financial analysis and modeling skills to drive business performance.
- Manage the monthly revenue flash process, including system reconciliations and cash reporting.
- Ensure processes are in place and up-to-date to ensure the completeness and validity of financial data.
- Conduct regular process and controls reviews, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Engage with business, IT, and Finance functions to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication.
- Manage internal and external audit requirements for financial data within the Broking system.
- Provide requirements for system changes and IT roadmap, with UAT support as needed.
- Offer ad-hoc support for projects arising in the Operations and Finance teams.
- Preferably experience working within London Market insurance accounting.
- Qualified Accountant with strong relationship management skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
- Attention to detail, numerate, and technically proficient.
- Highly proficient in analyzing large amounts of data with advanced Excel skills.
