Heavy Equipment Specialist

Aurora Energy Services is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating 4x4 and tracked vehicles, as well as other company equipment, across various terrains on client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate 4x4 and tracked vehicles across various terrains, in accordance with Company and Client requirements.
- Transport vehicles to work sites using a pickup truck and trailer, ensuring efficient logistics management.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on onsite equipment and vehicles, including fluid level checks, tire pressure inspections, and cleaning moving parts.
- Perform safety checks before each use, including brake, light, and emergency stop switch inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance performed and any issues encountered, supporting operational efficiency and safety.
Requirements:
- Valid ATV/UTV operator certification (e.g., Lantra, NPORS, FMOC).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating ATVs/UTVs in a professional environment.
- Full, clean, and valid UK driving licence.
- Experience with towing trailers and maneuvering in tight spaces.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
