About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Advisor to join our team in Bedford. As a key member of our Timber & Heavy-side materials sales team, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs, and providing proactive advice and solutions to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our product lines and services to effectively engage with customers and drive sales growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through face-to-face and phone interactions, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and preferences.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with existing and new customers, leveraging our in-house systems to process orders, organize delivery times, and keep customers informed throughout the sales process.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure the branch is well-maintained and presents a professional image to customers.
