About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Shift Manager to join our team at Lidl. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, ensuring efficient store operations, and leading a team of colleagues to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate and support your team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed and grow in their roles.
  • Manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
  • Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for all customers.
Requirements
  • Experience leading a team to achieve sales targets in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate your team to achieve their best.
  • Patience and a friendly manner with the ability to remain calm in any situation.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and leading a team to success.
  • Proactive and encouraging approach to help colleagues develop themselves and store operations.
