About the RoleIn this term-time role, you'll assist students aged 4-11, contributing to their social, emotional, and academic development. If you have experience working with children or a background in caregiving, a teaching assistant role could be the next step for you.
Key Responsibilities- Support learners individually or in small groups
- Serve as a positive role model in the classroom
- Assist the class teacher with resources and activities
- Build positive relationships with staff, learners, and their families
- Collaborate with other staff members
- A genuine passion for working with children and fostering a love of learning
- Grade C or above (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English
- Experience working with children or in childcare
- A positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Confidence and motivation to guide individuals or small groups
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Eligibility to work in the UK (No sponsorship provided)
This is a long-term role with full-time hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. You'll have the opportunity to work with a specialist and experienced team, and we offer free Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities. Plus, you'll earn £300 in shopping vouchers by referring a friend (Terms and conditions apply).
