Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between the main kitchen and our residents, ensuring seamless food service delivery.
  • Assist chefs in preparing meals, managing food trolleys, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Monitor stock rotation, adhere to company policies, and follow COSHH and HACCP guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy food service.
  • Support catering for special events, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties, to enhance our residents' experiences.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in a kitchen environment, with a passion for food and customer service.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, with a commitment to maintaining high standards in food preparation and presentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with the wider kitchen and care home teams.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.80.
  • A permanent contract with 18 hours per week, including 3 x 10am - 4pm shifts, including alternate weekends.
