Job Title: Part Time Planner

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Planner to join our Planning Policy, Infrastructure and CIL Team at Chichester District Council.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the Council's Community Infrastructure Levy service across the Chichester District area, excluding the South Downs National Park. This involves monitoring and enforcing developer contributions, which are expected to raise over £10 million towards infrastructure projects by 2030.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer the Community Infrastructure Levy service, ensuring compliance with regulations and related case law.
  • Monitor and enforce developer contributions, using software such as Exacom.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Policy, Infrastructure and CIL Team to achieve team objectives.
  • Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders, including developers and members of the public.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of the CIL regulations, related case law, and developer contributions monitoring software.
