About the Opportunity:

We are excited to announce an opening for a Junior Mechanical Designer at our UK location. As a key member of our team, you will be involved in the design and delivery of various projects, collaborating closely with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of senior Mechanical Engineering Team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of project requirements, codes, and standards.
  • Gather and review relevant documentation to ensure accurate design implementation.
  • Utilize 2D CAD software to create and modify mechanical designs, calculations, and drawings.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Prior experience in a mechanical engineering design company or industrial setting.
  • An HNC or degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Proficiency in using 2D CAD software, specifically Autocad and/or Microstation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Salary:

The estimated annual salary range for this position is £40,000 - £55,000 per year.
