About the Role:

As a Purchasing Ledger Clerk - Financial Support, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for Ad Warrior Ltd. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and reconcile high-volume ledgers, ensure timely and accurate data entry, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  1. Reconcile and manage ledgers across multiple companies and cost centers.
  2. Process financial transactions, including coding, batching, and uploading data.
  3. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations to identify any discrepancies.
  4. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to supplier statements.
  5. Conduct nominal/Chart of Account monthly reconciliations and general reconciliations to support colleagues.
  6. Maintain accurate cash book records and perform cash book reconciliations.
  7. Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders in various formats, including Excel.
  8. Support the finance team in preparing monthly credit card reconciliations and uploading them to the computer system.
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and accounting packages, including Excel.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

The estimated salary for this position is £32,000-£38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
