About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead our Strategic Corporate Finance Team based in the Corporate Services Directorate. As a key member of our Corporate Finance Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of the Council's Medium Term Financial Plan, leading on the Closure of Accounts process, and taxation and technical finance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Strategic Corporate Finance Team in the development of the Council's Medium Term Financial Plan.
- Oversee the Closure of Accounts process and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Provide technical finance expertise on taxation and other financial matters.
- Support the strategic financial strategy of the entire Council.
- Ensure the Council maintains high standards of financial compliance and probity.
