Job Description

We're seeking an experienced software engineer to work on our cross-functional product teams, collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and Data Analysts to build features that delight our customers. As a full-stack developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and Heroku.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality software solutions for complex problems, following best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the team to break down tasks into manageable deliverables, communicate effectively, and share knowledge to drive growth and innovation.
  • Work closely with Engineering Managers to ensure career progression, continuous learning, and fulfillment.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to improving operational excellence.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably with Ruby on Rails.
  • Self-motivation, responsibility, and a willingness to learn continuously.
  • Experience working in distributed teams, communicating with stakeholders, and breaking down tasks into smaller deliverables.
  • Familiarity with technologies like TDD, Kafka, Git, JS, Heroku, and HotWire, although not all are required.
