MLK Search is excited to be supporting a wonderful Primary academy in recruiting a strong, dynamic, and confident SENCO to join the senior leadership team. The school is committed to achieving high standards and exceptional pastoral care for its pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine the strategic development of SEN policy and provision in the school

• Be responsible for the daily operations and specific provision to support pupils with SEND

• Provide professional development to colleagues, parents, and other relevant agencies

• Be the Deputy DSL to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, and follow school policies and the staff code of conduct

• Be the Designated Teacher for Looked After Children

You will: Work closely with families to ensure the support is there for children both in and out of the classroom, and be part of a team that works to achieve high standards and exceptional pastoral care.
