As a Diagnostic Imaging Expert, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic radiography services in both CT and MRI departments.

Main Responsibilities

Key duties include:

  • Providing a high level of customer-focused care to patients and service users through quality diagnostic radiography
  • Working closely with radiologists and consultants to develop policies and protocols for imaging and patient pathways
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as agreed with your line manager
  • Assisting with day-to-day operations, including patient bookings and administrative tasks

This role offers the chance to work flexibly across different modalities, depending on the needs of the department. As a Diagnostic Imaging Expert, you will also contribute to maintaining the highest standards of clinical governance and protocols for both CT and MRI modalities.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this position, you should possess extensive experience gained post-graduation, preferably in the UK. A strong understanding of clinical governance and protocols is vital, as well as HCPC registration.
