We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Instructor to join our team at a dynamic and supportive secondary school. As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging physical education lessons, fostering a love for sport, and promoting healthy lifestyles among students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and positive attitudes towards sport.
  • Prepare students for internal and external sporting competitions.
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress and achievements.
  • Create an inclusive learning environment that supports students of all abilities.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extra-curricular sports clubs and events.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and curricula.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching PE at secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • A passion for sports and physical education, with a commitment to student development.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
