The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiological Physics Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the Radiological Physics group, you will be responsible for managing the technical support services provided to the section.

Job Description:
  • Manage the delivery of all aspects of technical support to the Radiological Physics Section.
  • Ensure the training of staff in quality assurance measurements of diagnostic x-ray equipment.
  • Oversee the administration processes for the patient dose monitoring system.

The ideal candidate will have significant post-graduate experience in quality assurance testing of complex diagnostic x-ray equipment and eligibility for registration on the Register of Clinical Technologists or Academy of Healthcare Scientists in Radiation Physics scope.

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
