About the Role:

As an Operational Support Manager for our Care Services, you will play a vital part in supporting our Registered Manager with daily operations and ensuring adults in our Supported Living Services receive the best possible care.

This is a varied role where every day brings something new. You will support adults to maintain independence and achieve personal goals, while also assisting the team with recruitment, supervisions, meetings, and inspections to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Registered Manager: Assist with recruitment, team supervisions, meetings, and inspections to ensure seamless operation of our Supported Living Services.
  • Talent Development: Help the team develop the skills, experience, and training they need to provide exceptional support to adults.
  • Client Support: Support adults to maintain independence and have the best quality of life possible.
  • Activity Planning: Work with the team to arrange and plan activities that promote engagement and well-being.
  • On-Call Rota: Participate in the shared rota for ’on call’ responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 in Health and Social or willingness to work towards within the 1st year of your role.
  • Confidence, flexibility, resilience, and an understanding of the 24-hour nature of the sector.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in working with adults in a supported living/care setting, ideally with experience of supervising teams.
