About the Role

Premier Recruitment Group Limited is proud to partner with a reputable organization in the care sector to recruit an experienced and forward-thinking Supported Living Service Lead. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work with a well-established care company specializing in mental health, learning disabilities, and autism.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Lead and direct the day-to-day operational management of the home, ensuring effective use of resources to provide a high-quality service.
  • Service Development: Collaborate with the Service Development Team to select and assess potential new residents, ensuring a smooth transition into the home if appropriate.
  • Dynamic Support Plans: Ensure that all service users have a personalized support plan that takes into account their needs, aspirations, and is regularly reviewed.
  • Safe Environment: Create a safe and supportive environment that fosters personal development for service users, considering their practical, physical, and emotional needs.
  • Risk Analysis: Take a lead role in risk analysis, ensuring assessments are conducted and plans are put in place to minimize risk where necessary.
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Work with the Personnel Department to support the recruitment and selection of staff, and assist the Area Manager in formulating staffing strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the home operates in accordance with good health and safety practices and legal requirements.
  • Maintenance and Equipment: Communicate maintenance and equipment renewal needs to the relevant person, obtaining costings and quotes as necessary, and ordering items/services once authorized.
Personal Qualities and Skills
  • Management Experience: Previous experience at a management level is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are required to work effectively with colleagues and service users.
  • Teamwork: Confidence to work alone and as part of a team is essential.
  • Passion for Care: The passion to work with vulnerable adults and a commitment to achieving high standards of safeguarding are crucial.
