A leading Ascot special education school is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join their team, providing expert support to autistic children and young people. As a key member of the school's therapeutic team, you will play a vital role in helping pupils overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
About the Role:As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering therapeutic interventions that address the mental health needs of pupils and their families. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping pupils develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their education and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and develop therapeutic plans for pupils with complex mental health needs
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to support pupils' emotional and social development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless support for pupils
- Contribute to the development of the school's therapeutic services and policies
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of autistic children and young people. The ideal candidate will have:
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical Psychologist modality)
- Experience of working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, such as autism and ADHD
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, parents, and other professionals
