About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and career-driven Glaucoma Optometrist to join our well-respected and well-developed Specialist Eye Clinic in Bristol. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be working with highly trained and skilled Ophthalmologists to deliver an excellent patient experience.

The successful candidate will have access to state-of-the-art technologies and will be responsible for attending to private and NHS referred patients. You will also have the opportunity to train and develop your skills through our well-established and fully-funded training and development platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing essential and advanced eye examinations for our patients
  • General outpatient care
  • Pre-operative and post-operative glaucoma consultations
  • Providing clinical support to our ophthalmologists
  • Being part of our multi-disciplinary YAG capsulotomy service, delivering these procedures
  • Pre and post-operative cataract and refractive consultations

Requirements
  • GOC registered
  • Minimum 3 years post-registration experience in the UK
  • Higher qualifications in glaucoma
  • SLT (desirable) - can provide training for this
